Founded in 1998, Liaoning Huafu Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. (LHEEC) is a new- and high-tech enterprise committed to providing whole-process solutions to industrial waste water, solid wastes and contaminated soil produced by petroleum, petrochemical and related enterprises, as well as urban domestic sewage. We are a leading environmental enterprise serving China's oil and gas fields, a major enterprise for China's environmental industry, a council member of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and China Association of Environmental Protection Industry, an outstanding "Little Giant" enterprise of China, a green manufacturing system solution provider and a conforming manufacturer of environmental equipment (waste water disposal) certified by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, an advanced enterprise of China regarding intellectual properties, a vice-chairman member of Liaoning Association of Environmental Protection Industry, an outstanding "Little Giant" enterprise, an enterprise owning specialized, refined, unique or innovative products/technologies, an enterprise technical center, a research center of engineering technology, and an innovative enterprise of Liaoning Province, and a postdoctoral station as well as a teaching testing base of Dalian University of Technology. In addition, we have a laboratory run jointly with CAS for soil remediation, and an engineering laboratory on biological-physicochemical collaborative remedying technology for contaminated soil run jointly with the state. We have won 1 second prize of the national science and technology progress award, undertaken 2 projects under the Torch Program, and owned 47 patents in force (including 15 invention patents). We have participated in the formulation of 6 national/local/industrial standards, and participated in/independently undertaken projects under 2018-2022 Key R&D Plan of China. In 2018, we were featured in CCTV's "Hearts and Crafts" program and "Smart China" magazine. 
 Among the projects successfully completed by us, we have achieved many firsts. In Liaohe Oilfield, we built a produced water treatment station with our own investment, and operated it for a period of time before we transferred it to our client, which is PetroChina's first one built using BOT mode. In Shengli Oilfield, we built a produced water treatment station for Sinopec using the same mode, which is Sinopec's first one built using BOT mode. We finished the construction of an offshore platform for CNOOC, which is the first one that can make its treated waste water meet governing standards and directly discharged. In Changqing Oilfield, we finished the construction of a specialized oily sludge treatment station using our own proprietary thermal desorption technology, which is China's first one that can have its treated sludge meet the safe standard. In Liaohe Oilfield, we successfully applied a mobile skid-mounted unit to the in-situ treatment of oily sludge for the first time in China. Thermal desorption technology-based units provided by us for Sinopec have been successfully applied to its oily sludge treatment for the first time. Thermal desorption technology-based units provided by us for the hazardous waste (solid waste) disposal center in Bayinguolemeng of Xinjiang have been started up and put into production, which is the largest comprehensive disposal project for hazardous wastes in China. In Liaoning Province, we designed and constructed a rural waste water treatment project, which is one of the first pilot projects of Liaoning Province for building beautiful rural area. The integrated equipment independently developed and provided by us for this project to treat village and town domestic sewage has the highest quality among similar products for rural area use in China. Leaders of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and competent leaders of Liaoning Province and Panjin City have visited the project site and our company for many times and given full recognition.
We possess 29 qualification certificates, including a Grade A design qualification certificate for environmental projects (waste water) and ASME series certificates. Our program Heavy Oil Produced Water Recycling Technology and Its Application involving our core technology won a second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award granted by the State Council in 2008, which has filled in the domestic gap in this technology, and is in the lead internationally. Our projects Heavy Oil Produced Water Advanced Treatment and Units, and Water Treatment Technology for Refined Water Injection into Low-permeability Reservoir have been brought into the list of National Torch Program projects. Our treatment technologies for solid wastes and oily sludge, and soil remediation technology are all internationally advanced. Moreover, we are also in the leading position in China regarding our treatment technology for polymer-bearing waste water resulted from polymer flooding and its application, our in-depth recycling technology for high-salinity produced water and its application, as well as our recycling technology for waste water resulted from oilfield operations and its application.
We have participated in the drafting and development of a number of national, local, group and industrial standards and specifications, including GB 50428-2015 Code for Design of Oilfield Produced Water Treatment (national standard), YB/T 4714-2018 Technical Specification for on-line Air Flotation Treatment Process of Oily Sludge from Hot Rolling (industrial standard), DB 1/T 1025-2016 Limits for the Disposal and Utilization of Oily Sludge (local standard of Shaanxi Province), Control Standard for Residual Solid Contaminants from Oily Sludge Treatment for Onshore Oil and Gas Fields (tentative local standard of Liaoning Province), and Operation and Service Standard of Liaoning Province for Facilities to Curb Water Pollution (group standard). Our enhanced nitrogen removal technology to treat low-availability carbon source and recycling and safe disposal technology for oily sludge with thermal desorption as the core have been listed in the Catalog of Liaoning Province for Key Energy Conservation and Emissions Reduction Technologies. Besides, the former has also been listed in the Guideline Catalogue of Liaoning Province for Water Pollution Prevention and Control Technologies.
Our proprietary technologies have been successfully applied to over 600 projects, and over 1000 pieces/sets of our proprietary equipment have been stably operated in various industries to improve the environment. In addition to our major customers of CNPC, Sinopec and CNOOC, we have also established cooperative relations with some other large enterprises, institutions, research institutes and universities/colleges at home and abroad, which include SINOCHEM Group, CNCEC, CITIC Group, CASC, HQCEC, CEEC, CAS Research Institution for Ecology, CRAES, Shenyang Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, Zhejiang University, Dalian University of Technology, TETRA TECH, and Environmental and Energy Research Center of the California Institute of Technology. By working together with our cooperative partners, we have successfully applied various proprietary technologies, equipment and services to large domestic oilfields and refinery enterprises. We have also actively took part in the development of "One Belt and One Road" and "Maritime Silk Road", and introduced our products to Kazakhstan, Venezuela and other countries through CITIC ENVIROTECH and HQCEC. We have expanded our market in the North America through cooperation with Environmental and Energy Research Center of the California Institute of Technology.
